Dallas.Org Getting a New Platform

Well, we're really doing it. Dallas.Org is getting a makeover and moving to a new platform. A bit of news: you will need to re-register for an account on the new system if you want to post comments or have your own blog.

What's different: we're going to try host an alternate news source with links to things you're interested in--while occasionally doing our own thing with some investigative features.

Why: there are quite a number of interesting happenings around the area that are covered by multiple news sources. But unless you want to surf a bunch of websites, you'd never know it. Our daily newspaper has excellent coverage of many things but some things just aren't available without a subscription (sounds like something your doctor might say, eh!).

So hang in there while we get the archives ported and the new site skinned. We hope it will be well worth the wait.

Oh, and yes, we're looking for people to help with the content. If you're interested, find the "Contact Us" button at the top of this page and click on it.
